Matt Adams Magic

Matt performs weekly shows at the world-famous Bridge Street Town Center all during the spring and summer months typically from 6:30 until 8:00 PM on Saturday nights!  Feel free to come by and watch Huntsville's finest magic!

01/31/10: Matt's wife gave birth to their second child! Ashley Love Adams was born at 4:40 AM and both mommy and baby are doing great. Daddy is over the moon!

10/23/09: Matt performed in Pensacola, FL, for a private Halloween house party on the beach. His performances included 4 escapes in tribute to the upcoming death of Harry Houdini.

10/22/09: Matt performed a dinner show and gave a short stage presentation including sharing the gospel with the participants of the Couple's Bass Tournament Trail by L&L Marine at the Joe Wheeler State Park Lodge. There was a great turnout for the event and everyone had a great time.

10/03/09: Matt did a double performance today - morning show was at the Madison Street Festival and the evening show was the usual Bridge Street Town Center. 

09/19/09: Come one, come all!  Matt has added a straitjacket escape to his normal Bridge Street Town Center routine!  You don't want to miss this! 

09/18/09: Matt performed for a private party downtown Huntsville.  The hit of the night was when Matt suspended a girl in mid-air!

09/01/09:  Matt performed some impromptu table magic for several clients and servers and ended up earning himself a free meal from Jack Quinn's, the famous Irish pub in Colorado Springs, CO.

08/27/09: Falkville High School had Matt present a 30 minute show for about 250 prospective new members for Youth for Christ.  Matt had the privilege of seeing around 40 students come to Christ!

08/16/09: During Willowbrook Baptist Church's leadership training seminar, Matt performed two back-to-back shows for the children and teens.  Effects included several escapes, card tricks, mentalism, and a guillotine! About 15 came to Christ!

08/14/09: Matt performed magic for the Redstone Village Retirement Community and also played the piano for them.  The residents were very pleased and invited him back for another show!

07/25/09: Matt is back at Bridge Street!  Tonight he performed strolling magic for individuals but still managed to attract a crowd by doing a clever rope illusion. 

07/02/09: Matt performed some street magic in downtown Dublin, Ireland!  He is now calling himself an "international illusionist."  Haha.

06/23/09: Matt performed for Cornerstone Baptist Church and had the privilege of seeing one come to Christ!  Effects included a fiber optics rope routine, various mentalism effects including a mentalist slate, a UV scorpion effect, topsy turvey bottles, and various other effects.  The show went well and lasted about 45 minutes.

06/19/09: While out celebrating his 3rd wedding anniversary, Matt couldn't help but perform some table magic for the Melting Pot. 

06/14/09: During Sunday brunch at the Chef's Table in Huntsville, Matt performed some table-side magic for the restaurant.

05/30/09: Matt performed in the finals of the Bridge Street Talent Competition and got a short spot on the news from FOX 54, but he couldn't pull off a win against a fantastic local singer.  Congrats to her for a job well done!

05/29/09: Matt performed for the initial round of the Bridge Street Pavement Performers Talent Competition and won his way into the finals!

05/24/09: Matt performed an impromptu show at the local Blockbuster movie rental for all the customers.  Each broke out into spontaneous applause at the conclusion of a new rope routine that Matt will be performing each week at Bridge Street.

05/23/09: While in Gulf Shores, Matt performed some street magic in front of LuLu's, Lucy Buffet's local restaurant.

05/16/09: Opry Mills Mall has never seen such magic as Matt brought this afternoon!

05/14/09: Matt performed the linking rings, a rope routine, chalkboard mentalism, and the illusion "From Death to Life" (a guillotine effect) at the Embassy Suites in downtown Huntsville for Discovery Middle School's charity benefit fundraiser dinner for our very own Huntsville Hospital NICU. 

04/21/09: Matt performed for Friendship Baptist Church's "Silver and Gold" dinner at Big Bob Gibson's BBQ on North Memorial Parkway in Huntsville. Matt's effects included the linking rings, professor's nightmare, silverware bending, the web, a quarter thru a sealed water bottle, a Houdini escape, and more!

04/04/09: Matt performed for a crowd of about 300 at Discovery Middle School for the statewide competition called "Destination Imagination."  Some of his effects included silverware bending, linking rings, 2 Houdini escapes, magic using ropes, a mentalism routine where Matt correctly predicted the thoughts of several audience members, and a snow storm of paper! 

04/02/09: Matt bought a 24-pack of water bottles and immediately put a nickle straight thru the bottom of a factory-sealed bottle for the cashier at his local Walmart!  Five minutes later Matt decided to do it again at McDonald's ... with THEIR bottle.  Work stopped.  Magic began.

03/28/09: Matt performed a take-off of Jeff McBride's version of the famous Chinese Linking Rings routine.  He also worked with several spectators to create impossible art with metal forks, and Matt closed the night with a Houdini escape with background music provided by the legendary Bro. Rick "Blues" Patton!

03/20/09: Matt performed walk-around magic at Bridge Street Town Center and finished up the evening with a Houdini escape for a packed Apple store.

03/13/09: Matt braved "Friday the 13th" for a child's birthday party and rocked the house! The kids went wild over the Houdini escapes.

01/21/09: Matt performed at Capshaw Baptist Church for the boy's AWANA ceremonies and received rave reviews on his new Scorpion Acid effect!

01/11/09: Matt performed an all-new form of invisible magic that incorporated black-light and glowing chemicals for The Tribe.

11/25/08: Matt performed the Shanghai Shackles and pulled a rope through his neck (at lunch no less!) for a corporate event at Boeing.

11/23/08: Matt completed construction on his set of the famous Shanghai Shackles and performed the escape for The Tribe at Friendship Baptist Church.

11/22/08: While browsing the stock at the local Ala Spy Shop, Matt escaped from a pair of police-issued handcuffs in full view of the store clerk!

11/11/08: While having some machine work done on a new escape piece, Matt performed the Siberian Chain Escape for a small audience at the Russell Welding Company in downtown Huntsville this afternoon.

11/02/08: Matt performed the famous "Houdini Rope Escape" and "Spirit Rope Escape" along with some close-up magic during the Sunday morning Bible study hour at Friendship Baptist Church.

10/31/08: Matt performed many different card tricks, linking rings, spirit bills, magazine to money changes, color changes, psychokinetic time, silverware bending, and other close-up effects at the "Trunk of Treat" festival at Friendship Baptist Church.

10/18/08: Matt performed at the Westin for a private party.  His effects included the "Healed and Sealed coke can," card tricks, silverware bending, mind reading, and several other feats of prestidigitation.
